貳、本書內容What the author write.
Chapter1: The human nature is the same, whether in different places. Because of the convention education, human’s independent thinking becomes difficult. If we want to change this situation, we can’t just focus on systems. To change in our mind by education is the most important thing.
Chapter2: The true education is the understanding of oneself because the whole life comes form everybody’s mind. Implicit in right education is the cultivation of freedom and intelligence.
Chapter3: The kind of true education consists of intelligence awakening. How about the knowledge? Knowledge is not comparable with intelligence. In our search for knowledge, in our acquisitive desires, we are losing love. We can’t follow the authority, too. If we do, we will abandon the intelligence.
Chapter4: Right education is obviously a danger to sovereign governments, and so it is prevented by obvious or unobvious means. Real peace exists when there are love and intelligence. If we want peace, we have to do the best to change the situation. And only at this time, there will be hope for children and the world.
Chapter5: If the nucleus of the staff in a school with correct educational purposes is dedicated and vital, it will gather to itself others of the same purpose, and those who are not interested will soon find themselves out of place.
Chapter6: If the teacher takes a real interest in the child as an individual, the parents will have confidence in him. In this process, the teacher is educating the parents as well as himself, while learning from them in return. True education needs both teachers’ and parents’ patience, respect, and love.
Chapter7: If the parent or the teacher is himself caught up in the turmoil of sex, how can he educate the child? The only solution is to make love exist in mind. When there is love, sex is never a problem.
Chapter8: The love of beauty may be expressed in a song, a smile, or silence. If we want to develop sensitivity in the young, we ourselves must be sensitive to beauty and ugliness; take every opportunity to awaken in them the joy by seeing the beauty that is not only human-created, but also in nature.

參、作者的基本觀點
教育，並非只是用來訓練心智，教育的功用在於培養完整、具有智慧的人。智慧是對於根本事物、現存事物的了解能力，而教育便是在自己及別人身上喚醒這項能力。教育也不能順從權威，否則就是摒棄了智慧。
學校應該著重於對學生施行正確的教育，華麗的校舍、學生的多寡都不是重點，施行正確教育的學校，會讓學生找到屬於自己的路。
我們也不能讓政府全盤接收教育的責任，一旦如此，教育就淪為了國家擴展自身利益的手段。我們應該負起責任，唯有此時，孩子才有希望、和平才會到來。
社會現今的教育，只是從書本中獲得些許見聞，早已忽略了教育的真正意義:自我了解，因為生活來自於每個人的身心。而一個正確的教育者，應該了解何謂教育，在性與婚姻中抽離束縛，對美醜的事物保持敏感，讓孩子能真正的找到智慧、幸福與美。

肆、我贊成或反對的理由
我很贊成作者的想法，就像杜威所說的「教育即生活」，如果一個人滿腹經綸，但他生活上的知識乏善可陳，那生活還有什麼意義？我們應該以生活為出發點，學習真正自己所要的，才能真正的學以致用。
作者認為，真正的教育是讓個人在充滿愛的環境中，逐漸成熟，並且領略自由的真諦。我認為，這個社會上，如果有更多真正的教育，那麼現今有很多教育問題將不再是問題。例如幾年國教根本不重要，因為教育者是以愛為出發點，傳授學生有興趣的，學生得以快樂學習，正如孔子所提的：「因材施教」、「適才適性」。如何分班也不是問題，因為不管如何分班，教育者都是依照每個不同的個體去教育。霸凌也不會再有，因為大家從小就接受愛的教育，知道要尊重每個人。或是其他問題，因為教育只希望每個孩子、下一代能擁有更多幸福，只要出發點對了，還有什麼是錯的？
在本書中提到：智慧，是對生活方式的了解能力，對正確價值的知覺力。可是在現今的社會裡，智力常被作為比較優劣的一項衡量準則，但是智慧卻不被重視，這是錯誤的觀念。要知道，因為有智慧，才能享受於生活的美好；因為有智慧，所以能好好的運用智力；因為有智慧，心中才會有愛。而空有智力，就像一個博士生不會煮飯、不懂得禮讓救護車；只強調智力，會讓人與人之間更冷漠，現實社會更殘酷。相信很多人已經很久沒有為了某件事感動過，很久沒有再度拾回曾經擁有的某些信念。智力，不可否認的，在現今的社會裡是很重要的，但不只有它，還有很多事值得我們追尋。
作者的這些觀點影響了我很深，仔細研讀之後，我發現作者也只不過是希望大家的生活能更美好。既然這樣，為何我不開始朝這方向努力呢？

伍、讓我反省及啟示之處
在看這本書之前，我從來沒有真正思考過何謂教育、何謂生活，甚至這兩者是息息相關的，而教育也不應該單單只是教育，它應該包含智慧、創造與愛。看了這本書後，我開始思索：我以前受的教育到底是怎麼樣的？它是否正確？或是害了我？我應否感謝曾經陪伴我長大的父母、師長？而我的生活，到底有沒有意義？我是否已開始在追求正確的智慧？
我回憶起我的國小的一位老師，她很喜歡打人，但是她上課很用心，也常跟我們講許多課堂外的道理，全班在她的帶領之下，一步一步成長茁壯。我覺得因為受了她的教導，讓我了解了許多事情，在課業上也有了不錯的成績，也了解了許多生活中的常識，但是唯一我不喜歡的事情就是被打，只要跟我講道理，我都會用心的去聽、去遵守。只要能達到效果，不一定只有一種方式可以達成吧。
提到我的父母，我只有滿滿的感謝之情，也沒有其他的事物，能回報那溫暖廣大如陽光般的恩情。從小，他們就用心灌溉著我，用生命來教育我，他們是真的愛我，讓我得以在幸福的我的家，開心發芽。他們只希望在還有能力幫我遠離外面風雨的時候，盡力地給我安穩的環境，等我長大，滿足地看我用力飛翔。我記得當我小時候，父母常常陪伴我學習，讓我了解了很多生活上的常識與學業上要用到的知識，如果我做錯，他們會耐心叮嚀，讓我了解錯在哪裡。當我青春期，脾氣古怪的時候，他們依然沒有放棄我，依然用心的教導我，讓我能更成熟穩重、明瞭是非。
雖然我以前的老師有時並不是那麼平易近人，但在課業與生活上也讓我收獲了很多；而我的父母，也為我付出了這麼久的時間，不求回報、不辭辛勞，感謝你們，但我知道我還有很多要學的，我會繼續努力。而我現在的生活，我覺得很滿足，我正在學習很多對我未來很有幫助的知識，並且和待人處世息息相關的，雖然如此，但這本書提到生活應該富有藝術、充滿創造，這部分我還需要學習，我會開始用心體會世界。謝謝本書，讓我朝真正的智慧邁進了一大步。

兒童英語

我覺得老師與眾不同，老師您沒有當老師的那硬架子，讓大家都能在您的課堂輕鬆的享受上課氣氛，老師您也常常跟我們分享許多有趣好玩的教學經驗，讓我們大家對教育，又充滿了一份興趣與熱情。上了您的課後，我開始會去試著想像，如果我有一天，也能當一位老師，那時上課的情景、心中的感動與大家的笑容，上了兒童英語後，因為老師您常提及國小學生的行為舉止，讓我重新憶起曾經無憂無慮，小時候的我，讓我在上課的時候，心中湧起了一陣陣溫暖的波浪，讓我在課業與未來交織而成的大學生活，能用再次尋回的那顆好奇、純真的心，一步步勇敢的前進，這些只因為上了老師您的課-兒童英語。XD
